Restorative Yoga - Release
As we begin the New Year, join Christina in this restorative practice to let go of all that is no longer serving you, creating space for more renewing intentions. In this sequence, we will move through 3 to 5 long and supported poses that allow for the release of depleting emotions and physical and energetic blocks that may be preventing you from transitioning into the new year with peace and power.
Restorative Yoga emphasizes rest and support, allowing the body to activate profound healing. By balancing the autonomic nervous system, getting us out of fight-or-flight and into the rest and repair powers of the parasympathetic nervous system, restorative yoga helps the body release physical and emotional patterns locked deep within our bodies. We accomplish this through long, supported poses that allow for passive opening and gradual release, creating space for more renewing energies and patterns.
*All Restorative Yoga classes are beginner-friendly and are suitable for practitioners of all levels. Props are welcome and available and can be incorporated as desired.
