Restorative Yoga - Heart
In the hustle-bustle of this holiday season, join Christina Celebi as we slow down and connect with the compassionate and loving energy of the heart. This restorative yoga sequence will focus on opening the heart and releasing the emotional residue that may be keeping you from moving through the season with peace, joy, and compassion. We will move through four to five supported poses that promote balance, gradual release, relaxation, and deep healing.
Restorative yoga emphasizes rest and support, allowing the body to activate profound healing. By balancing the autonomic nervous system, getting out of fight-or-flight and into the rest and repair powers of the parasympathetic nervous system, restorative yoga helps the body release physical and emotional patterns locked deep within our bodies. We accomplish this through long, supported poses that allow for passive opening and gradual release, creating space for more renewing energies and patterns.
