Viki Ford-Strange is the innovative designer of VFS Jewelry. Denise Cutair crafts in many different mediums including jewelry and costumes.  They will be presenting a jewelry making workshop, with all materials provided. 

The history of beads spans thousands of years. All cultures used beads for adornment, decoration, therapy and trading. Whether hand made or machine tooled the beads of today offer an endless variety of colors and styles from which to choose. You may find the art of beading to be very creative and calming. You can choose which to make during the workshop.

Mala Necklace: The Mala necklace allows for focusing on each piece with intent and working towards a finished goal. The end result is a beautiful piece that you have created with a personal connection.

Beaded stacking ring: The beaded stacking ring is easy to learn, fun to make and great for a gift.

Beaded and charmed bracelet: You will choose from beaded crystals and charms to create your own charmed bracelet. 

The inventory list is provided in case you wish to bring your own items:

We will be using a Bead mat, size 11 seed beads (2grams), bugle beads (2grams), beading needle size 10, Fireline thread 6 lb test, bees wax, sharp embroidery scissors, flat and chain nose pliers. Bracelet: variety of beads, charms, closures, elastic or wire.
