Mindfulness is a quality of being that brings peaceful curiosity and compassionate awareness to any moment and interaction. When we practice mindfulness, we find ourselves in the generous present moment, able to calmly and kindly navigate through life with a sense of calmness and clarity. In this educational and experiential workshop you will:
· Develop a clear understanding of mindfulness and somatic awareness and how you can experience the healing benefits in your daily life
· Learn breath awareness and breathing techniques to help you achieve presence and emotional regulation
· Be guided in meditations that cultivate a deep sense of personal knowing and awareness
· Experience mindful movement exercises that cultivate connection between mind and body
· Be provided with practice logs, techniques, and meditation scripts that you can use in your own practice of ongoing mindfulness and somatic awareness
