Restorative Yoga - Presence
In this mindful sequence, Christina will guide you into compassionate awareness of what may be arising in you through sensations. We will leverage the mind-body-spirit connection to harness the power of the generous present moment and all of the wisdom available to us when we find presence.
*Restorative Yoga emphasizes rest and support, allowing the body to activate profound healing. By balancing the autonomic nervous system, getting us out of fight-or-flight and into the rest and repair powers of the parasympathetic nervous system, restorative yoga helps the body release physical and emotional patterns locked deep within our bodies. We accomplish this through long, supported poses that allow for passive opening and gradual release, creating space for more renewing energies and patterns.
*All Restorative Yoga classes are beginner-friendly and are suitable for practitioners of all levels. Mats, blankets, and props are available and can be incorporated as desired.
