Plan of the first knitting lesson

Beginner's Project: Garter Stitch Square

1. Introducing the materials and equipment

2. Participant will have the knowledge of how to knit: cast-on stitches, garter stitches, knit stitches.

3. Participant will know how to bind-off the knitting.

4. Participant will know how to finish the hot pad or washcloth.

If the time allows, we will advance to:

1. Learn how to do cable cast

2. Learn how to make purl stitches.

What the participant required to bring:

1. Needles, scissors, hook.

2. Yarn (should be NOT fluffy).

Note: At each ball of the yarn is information what size if the needles should be used.
