Eric is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage with over a thousand hours of massage experience. Eric started his private practice Sustainability Massage Therapy in April of 2014. For massage therapist Eric S. Jones Williams, sustainability isn’t just about helping the environment. It’s also a principle that applies to the human body. Eric helps his clients achieve a sustainable state of wellness through rehabilitative bodywork, such as structural deep work, deep tissue, Swedish, post surgical (range of motion) and sports massage, along with the natural and environmentally friendly products used in his treatment room. Eric best explains his holistic, preventive philosophy in his own words “Just because an area has pain or discomfort does not mean it isn’t coming from somewhere else,” he explains. “Let’s get to the source.”
In the fall of 2014 one of Eric’s childhood dreams came to life and he found his second passion, teaching. Eric was a teaching assistant at the Baltimore School of Massage and is now an approved continuing education provider by the NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) at the Tranquili-Chi Center. While he grows his practice and hones in on his skill of teaching, he is working diligently on writing new continuing education courses while fulfilling his duties as the Continuing Education Coordinator at Tranquili-Chi, going back to school for his LMT status and working on his Board certification.
